Exciting challenges exist in a growing region and we are now looking for a Service Market Salesperson.
The transport industry is in an exciting phase, and we at Scania see a great opportunity to meet our customers' needs while developing and growing our service business. As part of this, we are now looking for a Service Market Salesperson for Region West, based in Borås.
The primary responsibility of the Service Market Salesperson is to proactively market and sell all of Scania's services and service products to generate more work in the workshop. You will also be responsible for meeting business and financial goals, thereby contributing to Scania's profitable growth.
Mission
The role will focus on untapped potential with customers who have vehicles in operation, which means contacting customers where the vehicle has already been sold. Examples of tasks and sales opportunities include:
- Maintenance and repair agreements for customers without contracts
- Customers with their own workshops where there is potential to provide spare parts or take over workshop activities
- Rebuilding trust with customers who do not use our workshop services and helping them see the value of using authorized service workshops
- Working with service needs from vehicle inspections by authorities
- Selling Fleet Management to support customers in the efficient use of their vehicle fleet
- Working to take care of trailers and superstructures for the customer's vehicles
Focusing on the customer, understanding and transforming their needs into value-creating solutions, and maintaining a positive brand image are also important aspects of the role. Contributing to identifying potential customers and creating sales opportunities where Scania can provide value to the customer and be profitable. Promoting positive collaboration with colleagues in the service workshops and other sales areas where everyone works towards the same goal and helps each other.
Your profile
We want you to have experience in sales and/or customer engagement. We prefer that you are accustomed to working systematically with sales and have a good business sense. It is a significant advantage if you have knowledge of our product range and our services, as well as a good understanding of our customers, the industry, and workshop operations.
You are used to working independently as well as in a team, and you have a high social competence. Driving license at least B, preferably CDE.
Who are we
We are a team of friendly and skilled colleagues in workshop, spare parts, and sales. Together, we help each other grow with the task and develop both in our careers and as individuals.
Scania offers
Benefits include wellness grants and the opportunity for a company car. We have a benefits portal with discounted prices on products and services, Scania's Employee Support, salary exchange, as well as favorable occupational pension and insurance.
