The Procurement and Purchasing department conducts operational and strategic purchases and procurements, manages and follows up on entered agreements. With the entire purchasing process in focus, we work with exciting and varied tasks. We are currently undergoing ambitious change work to elevate the region's purchasing work to a more strategic level. We offer a role in a positive and engaging work environment with about 26 colleagues.

We are now looking for a procurement officer. The position is a permanent employment with start date according to agreement. The position is currently located in Härnösand with the possibility to work remotely. Meetings are conducted both digitally and physically, and travel may occur in the role.

The overarching goal of Procurement and Purchasing is to create conditions for the region to make good and sustainable long-term deals. As a procurement officer, you will closely collaborate with experts to drive several procurement assignments in parallel. The tasks mainly consist of being responsible as a project manager for the planning and execution of procurements of goods and services with varying complexity.

In the role of procurement officer, you will, among other things:

• Provide advice and support to the region's employees on procurement issues
• Collaborate in preliminary studies before procurement, develop purchasing strategies
• Conduct procurements by preparing and compiling request documents, bid evaluations, and contracts

You are expected to actively participate in the development work regarding common routines and working methods and drive the digital development to make our processes more efficient. Together, we will contribute to our procurement organization being perceived as an attractive and business-like partner for both clients and suppliers. In summary, your role is crucial in driving successful purchasing processes in line with the region's strategic goals and ensuring that our resources are used in the best possible way.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a post-secondary education in a relevant field for the position, or equivalent knowledge acquired through other experience deemed suitable by the employer
• Has experience related to the Public Procurement Act
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you

• Have training in LOU (Public Procurement Act)
• Have training in contract law
• Have experience in public procurement of contracts
• Have experience in real estate, construction, or IT
