About the Company

Calmar Industriteknik AB was established in the autumn of 2004 under the name CalmarCisternen AB.

As the name CalmarCisternen suggests, the primary focus was on the construction and manufacturing of stainless steel tanks and pressure vessels. Over time, other business areas crystallized that grew larger than the initial business idea, leading to the name change in the summer of 2007 to Calmar Industriteknik AB. The products under the brand name CalmarCisternen are still part of the range and are manufactured here in Kalmar with the same high quality!

In November 2009, the next major step was taken when the company Kalmar Rostfria AB was acquired, and the operations were moved from Torsåsgatan to Propellervägen in the Kalmar airport area. Through this acquisition, we can now also offer advanced sheet metal processing in the form of punching, nibbling, plasma cutting, and bending.

Six years later, specifically in November 2015, another acquisition was made when Ölands Industriservice merged with Calmar Industriteknik AB. Personnel and production facilities will continue to be available on Southern Öland to serve our customers.

Your Responsibilities

You will work independently, so it is very important that you master either TIG or MIG/MAG welding very well. You will handle construction and reading blueprints. Welding requires a high level of precision and accuracy. Your tasks will also include assembling the details and products manufactured at the customer's site.

Your Background/Your Qualities

You are an experienced welder in either TIG or MIG/MAG and are skilled in handling stainless steel and other materials. Having licenses is highly meritorious. Welding and blueprint reading tests will be conducted before any potential employment. You have experience and knowledge of pipe welding. Experience in travel assembly is an advantage. You are knowledgeable and self-sufficient in your work and tasks.

As a person, you are hardworking, meticulous, and quality-conscious. You naturally contribute to a good result and a positive atmosphere in the workgroup through a friendly demeanor and an open mind.

The position starts as a temporary employment that is expected to transition into a permanent position with the company.
