Folktandvården is an independent administration within Region Örebro County with approximately 600 employees. The main tasks are clinical operations, knowledge dissemination, as well as research and development work. To achieve this optimally, we have an organization tailored to operations with General Dentistry and Specialist Dentistry with clearly defined tasks in each area. Supporting the clinical operations are the areas of Business Development, Business Support, HR, and Finance/IT.

We are now looking for an interested colleague who wants to gain credentials in Dental Radiology. Folktandvården's specialist dentistry intends to regularly offer dentists a limited-time credentialing service in various specialties. The service is advantageous for any future application for specialist training. After completing the service, the credentialing dentist should:

• Have good knowledge of the radiological examination methods used in a specialist clinic.
• Perform eligibility assessments, diagnostics, and create documentation for radiological statements in collaboration with specialist dentists in dental radiology.

Folktandvården Region Örebro County actively works with preventive dental care and Frisktandvård, all to ensure that our county residents achieve the best possible oral health. We offer dental care at 21 general dental clinics and 8 specialist dental clinics. We have a dental laboratory, a public health unit, and an education and research unit closely linked to Örebro University. A total of about 600 employees work within Folktandvården Region Örebro County.

The credentialing service involves clinical work located in the Department of Dental Radiology and comprises approximately 40% over 15 months. Other duties are performed at the regular clinic. In the case of external applications, part of the service will take place at a general dental clinic in Folktandvården, Region Örebro County.

During the clinical service, there will be an appointed clinical supervisor. There is an opportunity to participate in selected parts of the specialist dentistry seminar program. A review will take place after 3 months between the credentialing dentist and the department manager at the Department of Dental Radiology. At that point, a decision will be made on whether the service will continue or if the dentist will return to their original position.

You have at least 3 years of experience in general dentistry and a genuine interest in Dental Radiology. Additionally, you have good experience in the treatment panorama within general dentistry and insight into the various operations of specialist dentistry. You have a knack for providing clear and concise information both verbally and in writing.
