Sydnärkes Education Association conducts high school education at Alléskolan and adult education at Allévux in Hallsberg.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a qualified vocational teacher in the Electrical and Energy Program and looking for new challenges? Or are you currently working in the electrical industry and feel that you want to advance in your career? Do you want to help develop education at a successful high school? Then you could be our new colleague!

We are looking for someone to complement our team in the Electrical and Energy Program with your knowledge and expertise in manufacturing and/or process automation as well as industrial automation. The team consists of other vocational teachers with extensive experience in teaching and the industry.

The position includes teaching vocational courses, mentorship, and working with APL (workplace-based learning).

We are looking for someone with solid knowledge and experience from the electrical and energy industry in automation or programming. In addition to good pedagogical skills, you also need to be able to structure and document, as well as be flexible in interactions with students, guardians, and colleagues. You should be positive, engaged, and passionate about student development, both academically and personally. You should be a driving force in developing an accessible learning environment for inclusive working methods. You should be able and willing to actively work for increased collaboration both within the program and with external stakeholders. You should find it easy to collaborate with others and have a genuine interest in helping your students achieve their and the program's goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have:

• Vocational teacher certification in relevant subject areas
• Alternatively, vocational experience in manufacturing and/or process automation.
• Good computer skills

Meritorious:

• You have experience working with youth
• You have experience in manufacturing and/or process automation.
• You are qualified in the courses: Automation Technology level 1, level 2, level 3, Robotics, Industrial Automation, and Distributed Control Systems.

Personal qualities:

• You can work independently as well as collaboratively with others
• You have good communication and pedagogical skills
• You plan and organize your work effectively
• You are structured, flexible, and have a positive and professional attitude when interacting with others

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
