Nordic Waterproofing is now seeking a Process Engineer for its operations in Höganäs. This is a new role in the organization where you will largely have the opportunity to shape the position according to the needs of the business. Role Description

The role of the process engineer is very varied. You will primarily work with process development and improvement efforts where you will analyze output, material utilization, and setup time to increase capacity. This involves project work aimed at optimizing the process, analyzing and optimizing current conditions, and calculating future investments. You will work closely with production, labs, development, QHSE, and be part of the factory management. The role requires a good understanding of the product from recipe to finished product.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in the process industry as a process engineer or development engineer. You have a relevant engineering degree or practical experience combined with vocational training. The role requires a good understanding of process flows and previous experience in the chemical industry. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Some form of leadership experience is advantageous but not a requirement.

We are looking for someone who is responsible and enjoys a role where you can lead your work independently. You have strong analytical skills, good perception ability, and the ability to observe and analyze relationships. You enjoy the responsibility of driving changes and improvements in the process and understand the importance of collaborating with colleagues in other departments. Being attentive and listening to colleagues from the factory floor as well as the development department comes naturally to you to ensure that you make decisions based on the right grounds.
