The Gothenburg Primary School Administration is one of the largest school administrations in Sweden. We are responsible for the city's municipal schools from preschool class to grade nine, adapted primary school, culture school, and after-school care. The administration has 138 municipal primary schools where nearly 47,000 students attend school every day. The entire administration has about 9,700 employees who work together to develop and take care of the operations - together we pave the way for the school of the future.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Gårdstensskolan moved into new premises in the autumn term of 2019. Special investments have been made to digitize the school. Classrooms, offices, and other common areas are characterized by new technology and new furniture. With new fresh premises and a comprehensive investment in digital learning environments, you will encounter a school characterized by diversity and creativity where you, in your role as a teacher at Gårdstensskolan, have the opportunity to be part of this positive development.

The school's focus area is language and knowledge-developing working methods in all subjects, and there is a lead teacher in each grade who leads the work to ensure that this approach permeates the operations. The school's health team is part of the school's working group to support work with health-oriented issues such as attendance and students' need for support. At Gårdstensskolan, we strive to build an organization where all functions in the operations work together to increase our students' goal fulfillment.

We are now looking for a teacher for teaching music and sports.

Your responsibilities include planning, implementing, and following up on your teaching. You will also be part of a working group with teachers who have other subject competencies; together with your subject and working group, you will work collaboratively to strengthen students' learning processes and create a good learning environment. You are also expected to work with the school's development work together with colleagues and be receptive to ideas and suggestions.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are an educated and certified teacher with qualifications in music and sports for grades 4-6. Experience in the profession and additional subject qualifications are meritorious.

You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You start from everyone's equal value and create a good atmosphere in the meeting.
