RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for 2 preschool teachers for Askims Domarringsvägs Preschool. The preschool is located in a beautiful natural area with forests, lakes, and walking paths.

In the role of preschool teacher with us, you will, together with your colleagues, be responsible for the development of the operations. The preschool is developing a Fairy Tale theme where a common book permeates the education and serves as the basis for thematic work. As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for documentation and evaluation of children's learning processes, developing the educational environment indoors and outdoors, as well as continuous planning and evaluation of the goals of the operations. An important part is to inspire children to discover for themselves and to make both children and parents feel involved in the operations.

We strive to create learning environments where the child is at the center and shape the educational activities according to children's interests and learning. Through a conscious approach, we want to offer an operation that is inspiring, exciting, and developing for both children, parents, and educators.

The proximity to forests and nature provides good conditions for outdoor activities, and we work a lot to ensure that all children have access to several different learning environments. The preschool has its own kitchen where all food is prepared with a focus on healthy and organic food.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are an educated preschool teacher with a license, waiting for your license, or at the end of your education. You should have experience working with literature profiles, fairy tales, and themes. We use a learning platform as an information channel to guardians and for educational documentation, so you also need to have some knowledge of ICT. The role requires that you master Swedish in speech and writing. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in systematic quality work and good knowledge of educational documentation.

As a person, you have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. You take responsibility for both your and the common tasks with the children's best interests in focus. To thrive in the role, it is important that you gain energy from contributing to others' learning and create conditions for learning to take place. For you, it is obvious to show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You base your actions on everyone's equal value and create a good atmosphere in your interactions with others. For us, it is important that you have an open and positive attitude and that you have the needs of the children and the operations as the starting point for your actions. Furthermore, you use time efficiently and work systematically, organized, and methodically. You ensure that the work is completed and follow up on the results.
