Do you want to help create Sweden's best school?

In the autumn of 2017, Ebba Braheskolan opened in Kvarnholmen. Our vision is to provide world-class education with a love for learning and to give our students the best knowledge development in Sweden. We have students from preschool up to year 9.

We are now looking for an English teacher for grades 6-9. The position also includes mentorship.

Your profile

You are a qualified upper secondary school teacher with deep subject knowledge and a strong ability to engage both the student group and the individual student with commitment and passion. You are a clear and secure leader in the classroom who understands the importance of teaching being both creative and inspiring, while also being based on research and proven methods.

You are unpretentious, curious, and generous with your knowledge – you are happy to share with colleagues and actively contribute to the school's collective development. You have a strong drive to create good results and thrive in a dynamic environment where initiative and innovation are encouraged.

Experience in teaching Cambridge IGCSE English is an advantage.

The school and Kvarnholmen

The school is located in Kvarnholmen, close to forests and the sea. Although Kvarnholmen is primarily associated with industry, it largely consists of archipelago nature, and at the eastern tip of the island, right next to the school, the existing green area is now being developed into an oasis with activities and recreation. There are good transport links to Kvarnholmen, and you can take a bus from Slussen in about 15 minutes. It is also possible to take a boat from Nybroplan or Lidingö, which takes you to Kvarnholmen in 20 minutes.
