The Role of Surgical Nurse

We are looking for a licensed specialist nurse in surgical care who wants to work in one of Sweden's best surgical departments on the inpatient side. The position is a permanent full-time employment where you can work day or night shifts. Start date according to agreement.

Working as a surgical nurse involves an exciting combination of care and high technology. You are at the center of events as an important cog in the surgical team where different professions work together for the patient's best. It is essential to be flexible in both thought and action and thus make quick decisions. A calm operation can suddenly turn into an emergency situation. Additionally, you will participate continuously in quality and improvement work.

The Operations and Intensive Care Clinic is one of the largest clinics at the hospital with about 350 employees in intensive care, surgical care, day surgery, sterile technical operations, and an administrative unit. Your Profile

Experience in surgical care within surgery and/or orthopedics is desirable.
