Fortifikationsverket is looking for a property technician in Eksjö. Do you have experience working with the maintenance of roads, land, and parks? Fortifikationsverket is one of Sweden's largest property owners and our mission is to provide tailored properties to our tenants within the defense sector. Our property portfolio is broad and consists of everything from ports, airfields, barracks, bunkers, and training areas.

The Southeast Region manages the property portfolio in Blekinge, Kalmar, Kronoberg, and Jönköping counties. The region has over 100 employees, the majority of whom are stationed at the region's three garrison locations – Eksjö, Karlskrona, and Ronneby.

In the Eksjö operational district, which primarily involves operations, supervision, and minor maintenance, we have three placement locations: Eksjö, Skillingaryd, and Växjö. In the group, we are a total of 21 people working with the operation and maintenance of Fortifikationsverket's property portfolio, infrastructure, and outdoor environments.

What does a property technician do at Fortifikationsverket?

As a property technician, you will work to maintain a good standard for our outdoor environment concerning roads, fields, park environments, and plantings. This means performing supervision, care, and maintenance to ensure that our tenants have operational and functional roads and fields as well as a pleasant environment. The work includes a variety of tasks where you will operate machinery, perform pruning, weed control, brush clearing, grass trimming, and snow removal. Daily customer and supplier contacts are also included.

What do you offer us?

We are looking for someone with a high school or vocational education focused on roads, land, and parks, or equivalent skills acquired through professional experience that we assess as comparable. A valid driver's license (B) is required.

It is advantageous if you have a BE driver's license and have worked with construction machinery for snow removal, lawn mowing, sweeping, and road maintenance.

About the employment

The position is a permanent employment. Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as employment at Fortifikationsverket is security classified.
