Do you have ideas for the future and are you driven by challenges? In Haninge, you will develop alongside supportive colleagues who want to make a difference today. Right now, one of the most ambitious transformation efforts in our municipality's history is underway. We are building a new city, about 20 minutes from Söder. Join us on our journey.

Do you want to be part of our development journey to become an accessible, visible, and knowledge-based social service with a preventive approach? Here at the Social and Elderly Administration, you will contribute to securing the future of social services. We work based on the needs of our target groups within individual and family care, disability care, and elderly care, so that residents in Haninge can live an independent life. We focus on results and what creates value for those we serve. Welcome to us!

Welcome to our family treatment team!

In our adaptation for the future social services, we have now established a second-line social service in which the Child Area is one of four areas within IFO.

Within our area, we meet children who need coordinated and extensive interventions that are preceded by application/report – investigation – assistance decision. The Child Area consists of groups within investigation, foster care/contact activities, open care, as well as administrative assignments and other support functions. Each group is led by a unit manager and the area as a whole by an area manager.

The Open Care Unit for children implements assessed assistance interventions in the form of family treatment, youth treatment, RePulse, intensive family treatment, etc. The unit consists of three teams: a family treatment team with 9 therapists, a youth treatment team consisting of 3 therapists, and an intensive family treatment team consisting of 4 therapists, who work to ensure that children and young people grow up under good living conditions. The open care is facing an exciting development where interventions are shaped in close collaboration with other important actors in the field to continuously develop and adapt to the needs we encounter among children and young people to offer the best support. Due to one of our therapists retiring, we are now looking for someone who wants to be part of our family treatment team and contribute with your knowledge and experience in treatment work.

You design an implementation plan for the assignment and work based on evidence and knowledge-based methods, a systems-theoretical approach, and other methods tailored to the families' needs. Collaboration is an important part of the assignment as there is often a need for interventions from, and coordination with, several different actors.

Involving the family's network is a natural part of your work to increase children's safety and create conditions for support to families over time.

Your qualifications

  • Degree in social work or education deemed equivalent by the employer,

Who are you?

  • You are engaged and motivated in your assignment and see potential for change in our children and youth and view their families as a resource.
  • You are relationship-building and solution-focused.
  • You have good self-awareness and can work independently and in a structured manner.
  • You contribute to a good working climate characterized by collaboration and focus on the assignment.

Your competence

As an employee with us, it is natural that you value collaboration with others but also that you can work independently. You easily create good relationships, are attentive and clear in your communication. You have good knowledge of relevant legislation, child development, and keep up with current research. You have knowledge of working methods and methods that are relevant to the target group of children, youth, and families. You need to be ready to take on complex assignments where you see opportunities and work as a team to create change. We see it as self-evident that you are responsible, have integrity, and value quality.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

We offer you

We who work in the Open Care Unit for children are knowledgeable and engaged in our work and care for each other and strive for a good atmosphere in the groups. We want our work to be characterized by trust and confidence, as well as curiosity and quality.
