Main Responsibilities

- Maintenance and care of cemeteries

- Grave digging and burial

- Lawn mowing, snow removal, etc. at the parish's properties.

- Service and repairs of machinery

- May include service to the parish's activities, including participation in certain services

- Administration

Education/Experience

High school education or equivalent knowledge.

Experience in gardening, park work, or similar is preferred.

You should have knowledge of working with and maintaining green space machinery. A minimum of a B driver's license is required for this position. A C license is an advantage.

Certification for wheel loaders and excavators is a merit.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, proactive, and organized, and has good physical fitness, as the work involves physical labor. You should be able to work independently as well as in a team. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Business Description

Södra Lapplands pastorate includes the parishes of Dorotea-Risbäck, Åsele-Fredrika, Vilhelmina, Stensele, and Lycksele. The pastorate has about 100 employees working with everything from services, teaching, and social work, to administration and cemetery maintenance.

Work Location is Vilhelmina. The position also requires work to be performed at other cemeteries within Södra Lapplands pastorate.

Other

The position is a permanent employment.

Weekend and evening work as well as on-call duty may occur.

Salary according to agreement.

Since parts of the position may involve parish duties, we expect you to be a member of the Church of Sweden and share the Church of Sweden's values.

Södra Lapplands pastorate has collective agreements with Kommunal, Vision, KyrkA, Akademikerförbundet SSR/Akavia, and Sveriges Lärare/KMR.
