The educational activities within MSB are responsible for providing well-trained personnel to the rescue service, municipalities, and other actors within civil defense. MSB is in an expansive phase with an extended mission, which means that additional requirements are placed on our premises as well as on our educational arrangements to meet the needs of the operations.

Your Responsibilities and Tasks

As a local strategist, you will work to support the operations with your subject matter expertise. You are responsible for ensuring that premises and educational arrangements continuously meet the needs of the operations, both functionally and in terms of safety, in both the short and long term. Your tasks include leading and coordinating overarching development work within the area and having a coordinating responsibility for other training locations within MSB. You will manage contacts with municipalities, property owners, and other stakeholders in the area.

Your Knowledge and Competencies

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in property/economics/project management or other education or work experience that the employer deems equivalent
• Experience working with local and workplace issues

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in the construction sector, e.g., Bas P/U, construction, and building physics
• Experience working in public administration
• Experience in contract and supplier management
• Experience in specification work as a basis for procurement

About the Employment
We offer you a permanent full-time position that begins with a probationary period.

Your place of employment will be Revinge, and travel is required in the position.

Swedish citizenship is a requirement for employment at MSB as it involves placement in a security class. Employment requires a satisfactory result in the security screening with a background check, conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

About Us

In the Technical and Service Unit 1, we provide, maintain, and design educational arrangements, materials, equipment, and vehicles. This includes property maintenance, workshop services, janitorial services, and ongoing contacts with the landlord regarding daily operations and maintenance of the premises within the framework of existing lease agreements. The unit consists of about 17 employees who together contribute to an efficient educational operation within the authority.
