Ängskolan is hiring a Teacher in Textile Crafts

Ängskolan, with approximately 1100 students, is a municipal F-9 school located in central Sundbyberg, close to nature and with good transport links. As a Teacher in Textile Crafts, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in your subject according to the curriculum, in collaboration with other colleagues at the school.

Your responsibilities also include documentation and assessment of students' learning, as well as follow-up and analysis of results to improve students' goal achievement.

With your solution-focused approach, you maintain a positive attitude and see it as your responsibility to create good and sustainable relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You have good knowledge of NPF (neuropsychiatric disabilities) and understand that adapting teaching and the learning environment for NPF is beneficial for all students. You identify strengths and build on the successful aspects of each student. With an inclusive working method and the ability to see students' diverse needs and individual conditions, the possibilities for everyone to feel joy in their work and succeed in school are maximized.

As the class leader and a good role model, you are flexible, enjoy structure, are full of ideas, and see every interaction with students as an opportunity. You have good collaboration skills, are proactive, and have a holistic view for each student.

We prefer that you have a teaching license and qualifications to teach students in grades 3-6. Previous experience working as a teacher in the relevant grades is an advantage. You are accustomed to using digital tools such as Google Drive and Google Classroom.
