THE SWEDISH ARMED FORCES is looking for a new team member:
Swedish Armed Forces Telecommunications and IT Systems Command, FMTIS. Location: Enköping.
About the unit
FMTIS Implementation Unit Mitt is one of four implementation units in Sweden. The unit stretches from Falun down to Gotland with several locations in between, including Enköping. At each location, there is an implementation department that manages the operation and maintenance of the Armed Forces' command systems, IT, and telecommunications. The unit currently has nearly two hundred employees, of which about 40 are employed at the Implementation Department Enköping IT (GA Enköping IT).
About GA Enköping IT
The FMTIS Implementation Department in Enköping is an IT department that works in several areas, including IT support, network, and server management. Our main task is to support the Command Regiment and Enköping garrison in IT-related matters and orders.

About the position
We are currently looking for a new operations engineer to strengthen our team in Enköping. As an operations engineer with a focus on networking, you will belong to a group of experienced technicians and engineers who work daily to maintain and develop the Armed Forces' network. The tasks include configuring, troubleshooting, and documenting network equipment. We are looking for someone who is either newly graduated from a two or three-year network education or has a few years of work experience in network technology. Since travel to all of the unit's locations may occur, a valid driver's license (B) is required. A security mindset is a natural part of daily work, which is why it is important that you have a pronounced one.

REQUIREMENTS
- Post-secondary education (college/university) in networking, or equivalent competence as assessed by the employer.
- Fluent in speaking and writing in Swedish and English.
- Good analytical skills.
- Driver's license (B)

MERIT
- Previous work within the Armed Forces or another government agency.
- Knowledge and experience of the Armed Forces' IT infrastructure, both software and hardware.
- Knowledge and experience of the Armed Forces' command support systems.
- Experience in IT security work / Training in IT security.
- Certification in Cisco networking (e.g., CCNA)
Start date, etc.
The position is a civilian permanent employment, with a 6-month probationary period. Start date according to agreement. Unpleasant working hours and travel in the service may occur.
