Training Specialists Wanted at the Fortifications Agency

The Fortifications Agency is looking for one to two training specialists. Do you want to work with coordinating training initiatives and procurements that foster development? Your Day - Contribute to Sweden's Defense Capability

As a training specialist at the Fortifications Agency, you will work in the central training unit within the HR and communications department. The unit currently consists of a unit manager, a training administrator, two training producers, and two training specialists. The position is located at the headquarters in Eskilstuna, which is centrally located just a five-minute walk from the central station.

The training unit is responsible for the part of the agency's competence supply that is conducted through competence development. The unit works to create a positive learning environment and develop effective methods for learning and education. Our unit is an important part of the onboarding process for new employees, in mapping the organization's competencies and training needs, and in training initiatives that require pedagogical support and production. We also participate in networks with other agencies to create meaningful collaborations and share insights, tools, and methods.

Examples of tasks may include:

• Procurement of training in collaboration with the organization
• Working with the Fortifications Agency's training plan by coordinating, prioritizing, and mapping training needs together with the organization.
• Coordinating internal and external collaborations related to training and training projects.
• Providing pedagogical support in the development of new and existing training initiatives
• Training and/or facilitating workshops as needed

What do you offer us?

We are looking for someone who has completed secondary education supplemented with training or work experience in the education field or equivalent that the employer deems appropriate. Furthermore, several years of experience in coordination and/or project management in larger projects with many contact points is required. You have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and possess a valid driver's license (B).

It is advantageous if you have post-secondary education such as a vocational college degree in project management or pedagogy.

Experience in a similar role in a larger organization, in an educational setting, in security work and preparedness, or in the construction and real estate industry is also advantageous. If you have experience working in an organization with high security requirements and authorized personnel training, it is to your benefit.

About the employment

The position is a permanent employment with the possibility of a probationary period. The place of employment is Eskilstuna. Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as positions at the Fortifications Agency are security classified.
