As a warehouse employee at Dagab's warehouse/logistics center in Örebro, you ensure that groceries are delivered on time and with good quality to their stores across the country. Since it is very important for the stores to receive the best service so their shelves are never empty, it is crucial that the daily work is carried out with high efficiency and quality.

As you will be part of a large logistics flow with many actors and different challenges, it is especially important to keep time schedules, follow safety and order regulations, and assist other departments when needed. The work takes place in the fresh produce department where it is approximately +4 degrees.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of warehouse employee at Dagab, the main tasks are:

  • Picking and packing orders - You complete orders according to the stores' requests. The work is done with the help of a picking cart and pick-by-voice (a voice-controlled picking system that helps you pick correctly).

In the long term, other tasks may also become relevant. 

Working Hours

In this role, you will work according to the following:

Working hours Monday - Thursday

  • 05:30-15:00

Working hours Friday

  • 06:15-13:15

Sundays may be relevant if needed.

Employment Type

The positions are temporary full-time employment until 31/8. For the right person, there may be an opportunity for extension. 

Start Date

The positions start immediately or by agreement.

Requirements and QualitiesRequirements
    • You must be at least 18 years old
    • Good Swedish in speech and writing
      Meritorious
      • Forklift license A1-4
      • Work experience from warehouse, logistics, or similar
      • Previous experience of physical work
      • It is a plus if you have been or are active in any sport

      You have a positive attitude and enjoy taking responsibility, whether it is about respecting schedules, maintaining good quality, or achieving set goals. You are comfortable being followed up on your performance and motivated by receiving clear feedback on a job well done. 

      To thrive in the role, good physical condition is required, and you take care of your health, as you perform repetitive lifting, so it is important that you work in an ergonomically correct manner and appreciate keeping your body active. 

      Being good at collaboration and contributing to a positive atmosphere in the group is important, regardless of different perspectives, cultures, backgrounds, and languages. You also need to enjoy working independently in the warehouse, as you move over large areas with limited social contacts while performing your tasks.

      Attention is also given to other personal qualities.

      Salary/Benefits

      Salary: According to collective agreement, and here the warehouse and e-commerce agreement is followed. The salary is GFL salary (GFL = your compensation is based on the average of all who work in the warehouse, which in this warehouse is a good compensation). OB and overtime compensation is added in accordance with the collective agreement.

          Recruitment Process

          You need to apply directly via the advertisement. After you submit your application, you will receive an email to complete an AI interview with Hubert. The next step will be a legal background check via Fortcheck. After that, a reference check will be conducted digitally with the help of Refensa. After this digital process, the next step for candidates who proceed is an interview on-site at Dagab. Drug tests are applied in connection with recruitment, and since Dagab places extra emphasis on good working conditions, random drug tests are conducted at the workplace.  The positions may be filled before the application deadline.
