Skånemejerier's four facilities in Malmö, Kristianstad, and Hjo produce various types of dairy products, and the processes differ from one another. We offer dairy products made from our beloved southern Swedish milk, protein-rich quark, Sweden's most purchased juice, cheese specialties from both Sweden and Europe - and much more. Maintenance is a key function in all parts of the business, both in keeping processes running and in developing, streamlining, and working proactively with our production.

What does the role entail?

In this role, you are fundamentally employed as a maintenance technician, but through the program, you will have the opportunity to try out different roles and assignments to gain an in-depth understanding of how the business operates. You will take on projects and participate in training that will help you develop both professionally and personally. This is a position for you who want to build a long-term career in an international company.

• Work with operational maintenance in all our four production facilities, thereby gaining a comprehensive understanding of dairy production from a maintenance perspective.
• Participate in and drive various projects within production, technology, and maintenance.
• Gain solid technical knowledge about our products, equipment, and processes.

In this program, you will also develop your leadership and eventually take on roles with personnel responsibility. By participating in projects, you will engage in work with goal management, KPIs, and performance evaluation to ensure high efficiency and quality in our maintenance processes.

Since our production runs around the clock, all year round, you need to be willing to work daytime as well as evenings, nights, and weekends according to a schedule.

• Several years of work experience as a maintenance technician
• High school education in technology
• Fluent in Swedish and have very good knowledge of English

• A technical educational background at the post-secondary level (e.g., engineering degree)
• Work experience from the process industry

Information and application

This position is a permanent full-time employment. During the first two years, you will work at all of our facilities, a few months at a time. After the program ends, you will continue your employment at one of our facilities. Since we have production around the clock, your working hours will vary.
