Data Engineer at the Financial Supervisory Authority

About the Job

As a data engineer in the Data and Analytics Platforms department, you will participate in building and managing our new analytics platform. Together with your team, you will be responsible for building and implementing the framework for the platform with scalable, automated, and reusable solutions for data flows and integrations. Therefore, you need to be open to new perspectives and technologies and be positive about testing new approaches to working with data. You enjoy programming data flows and are passionate about automation and structure.

You will work alongside other competencies within FI, and collaboration takes place in cross-functional teams. You recognize our values where we are engaged, determined, goal-oriented, and helpful.

Your Education and Experience

We are looking for someone who:

has excellent knowledge of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, CI/CD, and automation
can program flows that cleanse and compile data
has experience developing data pipelines to data lakes and databases
has experience with Docker/Kubernetes or other container solutions
has experience in data warehouse/lakehouse development
has worked as a data engineer or BI developer
has excellent knowledge of Python
has good knowledge of SQL
expresses themselves well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

It is advantageous if you:

have experience with AWS S3/MinIo, Apache Spark, and Apache Iceberg both on-prem and in the cloud
have knowledge of notebooks for analysis
have experience with data lakes on-prem
have experience with pseudonymization/masking solutions
have experience with BI solutions
have experience from the public and/or financial sector
are educated as a university or civil engineer in data or technology, alternatively a systems scientist or in another technical field.
