About the Position

Sonoco Sweden AB in Norrköping is now looking for a maintenance technician. With the opportunity to help create a new role in the company, we are seeking an engaged employee who is willing to take overall responsibility for maintenance and development of both machines and the property. We are looking for someone who enjoys working closely with colleagues and contributing to the company's progress.

The role includes ensuring continuous preventive maintenance to minimize unplanned interruptions and downtime in production. You should also be able to act and assist during unplanned stoppages. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the premises and associated equipment function satisfactorily and that there are routines and equipment for operators to perform daily maintenance.

This position is a recruitment, which means that upon hiring, you will be directly employed by Sonoco.

Your Main Responsibilities

Be responsible for preventive maintenance and ensure that there is a plan that is followed and continuously revised.
Ensure that there are conditions for each team to perform daily maintenance (DTM) and act on the work orders that arise.
Ensure that the maintenance system is used and updated.
Ensure the daily operation and maintenance of the property.
Participate in daily management meetings to plan and follow up on maintenance work.
Participate in problem-solving and repairs of machines during downtime.
Participate in improvement work in the workshop and production.
Plan, register, and follow up on work orders and spare parts inventory in the maintenance system.
Be responsible for the spare parts inventory and ensure that necessary spare parts are available.
Be responsible for chemical handling and reporting.
Perform ongoing maintenance on machines and other equipment.
Maintenance and repair of specific equipment, such as; turning of adhesive rollers, turning of blocks for sleeve machines, cleaning and maintenance of machines.

Who Are You?

Requirements:

Approved high school education from the electrical program or similar competence.
At least 5 years of professional experience.
Experience as a maintenance technician is an advantage.
Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
English-speaking.
IT-savvy – at least basic knowledge of Word and Excel.
Driver's license B.
Experience with Lean is an advantage.
