About the Position

We are one of Sweden's largest centers for coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). PCI involves the investigation and treatment of coronary artery disease and is performed in radiology, where temporary pacemakers and pericardial drains are also placed. Our facility in Huddinge is developed to perform more complex procedures such as PCI for chronic occlusions in coronary arteries and PCI with rotablation.

You will be part of a team with nurses and doctors specializing in interventional cardiology. As a nurse in the PCI lab, you will rotate between sterile assistance to a physician performing treatment, being responsible for patients, or working administratively during daytime shifts.

We are now opening an on-call line in Huddinge. When working in the on-call line, you will be on standby in a team of one physician and two nurses, where the nurse either assists or is responsible for patients.

For those interested, there is also an opportunity for a rotation position where you work 50% in the PCI lab and 50% in the cardiac ward/cardiac intensive care unit (HIA).

The position also involves weekend work with two weekends out of seven during rotation on the ward, as well as on-call duties.

The position is primarily located in Huddinge, but work at our unit in Solna may occur as we have a close collaboration with that part of the operation.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse
• At least one year of experience in cardiology, emergency care, or thoracic surgery

Desirable:

• Experience in PCI or other interventional activities
• Specialist training in intensive care, emergency care, or cardiac care
