The Recruitment Group is urgently looking for a Buyer on behalf of our client in Byske, Skellefteå:

As a Buyer, you will work in a manufacturing company that is part of an international group. You will work in a dynamic, international, and exciting environment. You will be part of a team led by the purchasing manager. The daily work is varied and includes everything from placing purchase orders to continuously ensuring that we conduct purchasing activities at the forefront where collaboration, development, good communication, and relationship building, both internally and externally, are very important parts of the job. Your points of contact will be both with local colleagues and internally with several different functions in the company as well as with our external suppliers.

• Responsible for purchasing direct and indirect materials/services for production
• Monitor deliveries of ordered materials as needed
• Handle quality issues with suppliers
• Participate in procurement of direct and indirect materials/services
• Conduct price negotiations and establish supplier statistics as needed
• Search for new suppliers to improve pricing and quality and conduct supplier evaluations
• Participate in reporting within the group
• Engage in improvement initiatives related to the area of responsibility and further development within the department
• Other related tasks

Qualifications and experience

• Relevant education in purchasing/logistics or equivalent
• Experience in qualified purchasing work, has worked in SAP
• Structured and organized
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
• Curious, positive, and driven person who sees opportunities and solutions
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good at collaborating with others and possesses strong communication skills
