We are currently looking for a class VI captain for an assignment with our client SSE AB!

About SSE AB

Svensk Sjöentreprenad specializes in work within marine environments, ranging from infrastructure, construction diving, vessel service, and dredging. They also have a large fleet of marine resources for rent. SSE focuses on new construction, service, maintenance, and execution related to facilities adjacent to water. In this area, they offer complete or partial commitments regarding, among other things, ports, quays, docks, lighthouses, bridges, power plants, etc. Through a unique and long-standing collaboration with various construction and management companies, they can offer extensive expertise in these areas.

About the job

This is a consulting assignment, and you will be employed by us at Marinkraft but will be where you are needed within SSE's operations. You will be responsible for Sound supporter, her crew, and passengers. The assignment is initially for two weeks in April-May, but there is a chance for extension for the right person. During the assignment, you will have accommodation and meals on board.

Who are you

We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented and communicative, as well as confident in themselves. You are independent and unpretentious, and you take charge of what needs to be done. Furthermore, you are a natural leader who understands how important your crew is for everything to function as it should.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• holds at least a class VI ship officer certificate (unlimited)
• has a machinist B diploma or a class VIII engineer certificate
• has a valid Crowd certificate
• has Basic safety training
• has a valid medical certificate
• has an ROC certificate
• speaks and writes Swedish/English fluently
• has a B driver's license

Meritorious

It is an advantage if you have experience operating smaller boats.
