As a ranger at Dagab's warehouse in Hässleholm, you ensure that food products are delivered on time and with good quality to their stores across the country. Since it is very important that the stores receive the best service so that their shelves are never empty, it is crucial that the daily work is carried out with high efficiency and quality. The operation is characterized by camaraderie and collaboration across functional boundaries, where employees are expected to deliver first-class transport and logistics solutions to Dagab's customers. There are many challenges, and high demands are placed on deliveries to be made on time, at the right temperature, and with as low environmental impact as possible.

As you will be part of a large logistics flow with many actors and different challenges, it is especially important to keep time, follow safety and order regulations, and assist other departments when needed. We want you to be part of creating an efficient and safe workplace and to have the right conditions to thrive today and tomorrow. You will work with goods in a chilled environment where the temperature is around +4 degrees.

In the role of ranger at Dagab, the main job responsibilities are:

• Using a pallet stacker to move pallets to the correct loading rows and optimize loading when necessary. You work in a team that is collectively responsible for ensuring that the pallets arrive at the right place and on time. Other tasks such as picking will also occur in this position. 

Evening shifts: 

• Monday - Thursday 14:35-23:00
• Fridays 12:40-18:00

The position will be a fixed-term full-time employment. 

The start for the positions is immediate

The position starts with comprehensive training for 1 week full-time. This is mandatory for all who are hired in the role and provides you with the conditions to learn and succeed in the role.

• You must be at least 18 years old
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Forklift license with category A

• Forklift license with category B
• Experience in forklift driving
• Work experience from warehouse, logistics, or similar
• Previous experience in physical work
• It is a plus if you have been or are active in any sport

You have a positive attitude and like to take responsibility, whether it is about respecting times, maintaining good quality, or achieving set goals. You are comfortable being followed up on your performance and are motivated by getting clear feedback on a job well done. 

To thrive in the role, good physical fitness is required, and you should take care of your health as heavy lifting occurs. You also need to be self-driven and have the ability to see the bigger picture while being able to handle stress during high workloads. 

Being good at collaboration is important as you work together with Dagab's various departments. Contributing to collaboration and a good atmosphere in the group is important, regardless of differing perspectives, cultures, backgrounds, and languages. You should also enjoy working independently in the warehouse, as you move over large areas with limited social contacts while performing your tasks. 

Other personal qualities are also valued.

Salary: According to collective agreement and follows the warehouse and e-commerce agreement. The salary is GFL salary (GFL = your compensation is based on the average of all working in the warehouse, which in this warehouse is a good compensation). OB and overtime compensation are added in accordance with the collective agreement.
