About the role

As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for planning, leading, and following up on transports within our operations. The role is broad and includes everything from planning transport bookings, traffic directing our resources, to working with upselling.

The role involves:

• Handling incoming transport bookings and order management
• Traffic directing our own resources and assignments – both planned and urgent transports
• Planning runs in close contact with drivers, customers, and workshops
• Having daily contact with our customers
• Working with pricing and quoting according to guidelines
• Contributing to upselling and development of existing business
• Assisting with weighing when customers arrive at NMÅ

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who enjoys juggling many tasks and thrives when things are happening. You have experience from the transport or recycling industry and know how important it is to have both structure and flexibility in a changing everyday life. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating – but you are also confident in taking your own initiatives and making decisions when needed.

You have a natural sense of service, enjoy being in contact with customers, drivers, and colleagues, and have the ability to keep an eye on both the details and the big picture. Additionally, you are solution-oriented, responsible, and curious about developing both yourself and the business.

We believe you have:

• Experience from the transport or recycling industry
• Good experience working in business or booking systems
• Understanding of transport planning and pricing
• Interest in customer relations and a desire to contribute to business development

The position is based at Blockgatan in Nässjö. Working hours are 07–16 on-site.

Procab is a transport company in Nässjö with about 50 employees and 42 own vehicles. We offer flexible courier and special transports, including crane operations, refrigerated transports, and terminal services.

NMÅ (Nässjö Miljö & Återvinning) specializes in recycling and waste management. Since 1999, we have been based at Blockgatan in Nässjö. We offer everything from comprehensive solutions for businesses to container rentals for private individuals – and we recycle most things, with a focus on the environment and flexibility.

Procab and NMÅ are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Transab, which has a turnover of about 600 million SEK and currently has over 120 employees. Transab was founded about 50 years ago and is now a complete partner in transport and contracting services. Offices are located in Jönköping, Nässjö, Eksjö, and Vetlanda, but we operate throughout Sweden.
