ABOUT THE POSITION:

As a Junior Quantitative Analyst, you will play an important role in the operational and analytical work in the energy markets. You will be part of a team that works on analyzing and developing price forecasts, models, and pricing for the electricity markets, where large datasets and advanced technical tools are a central part of the work. You will contribute to daily decisions and work, making the role both dynamic and key to the business.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Has a Master's degree (engineering mathematics, engineering physics, industrial economics with a focus on finance, or similar).
• Possesses knowledge or is open to learning programming, preferably with experience in Azure and Snowflake.
• Has a background in mathematics and preferably financial mathematics.
• Has a desire to work with large datasets and analytical tools.
• You have an outgoing and service-oriented personality and enjoy working in projects and processes.
• Structure and accuracy are important qualities in your work.
• Is fluent in Swedish as all documentation is in Swedish.

Even if you are a recent graduate, we welcome your strong interest and drive to develop in a role with operational and analytical focus. We are looking for someone who is project-oriented and can take initiative while being a good team player.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by us at Friday, but the ambition is that you will eventually be hired by the company.
