Storvretaskolan is a school with approximately 510 students from preschool class to grade 6, along with an after-school program. The school has about 55 employees. There are good communications by both bus and train to and from Uppsala. The commuter train takes 8 minutes from Uppsala central station to Storvreta.

Your Mission

As a leisure teacher at Storvretaskolan, you will be part of a flexible and creative work community with colleagues who share a strong commitment to the students' entire day. The after-school program is organized into three departments.

In your role, you will further develop collaboration between the departments and create activities that elevate students in relation to the skills they should be given the opportunity to develop at the after-school program. During school holidays, we place great value on the opportunity to make a difference in our compensatory mission. As a qualified leisure teacher, you are responsible for helping to drive pedagogical development forward together with your colleagues.

Your Background

We are looking for someone who is a leisure teacher. You have experience working in after-school programs. The job requires you to have good oral and written skills in the Swedish language.

As a person, you are flexible and can see opportunities in changes. You take initiative and start activities to achieve results. Furthermore, you are pedagogical and understand people's different conditions for absorbing knowledge. The job suits you if you are good at creating, maintaining, and developing professional relationships. Additionally, you find it easy to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner.

About Our Organization

Welcome to the education administration. We offer preschool, primary school, and upper secondary school for children and youth aged 0 to 20 years. Together, we work towards the goal that all students achieve the best possible academic results.
