ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for an accountant for a temporary assignment at a government agency in Borlänge. Our client offers a varied role in one of the agency's support functions. You will work with ongoing accounting, year-end closing, project accounting, as well as budget and forecasting work. Your job will involve producing financial reports, conducting analyses, and participating in budget follow-ups. The role also includes reconciliations, troubleshooting, and controls of financial data. You will collaborate with other accountants in the unit, although the role largely entails independent work.

The need extends from week 19-28, week 33-51, and week 2-7 (the period in between is closed for holidays). You will be based at the office in Borlänge.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a university degree in economics or equivalent education and at least three years of work experience in similar roles. Alternatively, you have a high school diploma or equivalent education and at least five years of work experience as an accountant. Experience in government accounting is particularly meritorious.
• Good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel.
• Experience working in accounting systems; experience with Agresso is meritorious but not required.
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of English.
