ARYZTA Bakeries Nordic AB has two production facilities in Sweden (Stockholm and Malmö). ARYZTA Bakeries Nordic AB bakes bread for some of the leading hamburger chains in the Nordics.

We are now looking for an engaged and responsible Shift Technician who wants to help ensure efficient and sustainable operations at our facility in Malmö.

About the position

As a Shift Technician with us, you will play an important role in maintaining and improving the bakery's operations. Your main responsibility is to address downtime, perform preventive maintenance, and drive improvement initiatives to ensure the highest possible performance from our production facilities. You will work closely with other departments and be an important part of our work on safety, quality, and hygiene.

Main responsibilities

• Technical maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of production equipment, both mechanically and electrically.
• Downtime and troubleshooting: Identify and resolve downtimes and perform troubleshooting and repairs of process equipment.
• Safety and hygiene: Ensure that all health and safety requirements are met, and maintain high standards for food safety and hygiene.
• Improvement work: Participate in improvement initiatives to optimize the facility's performance and ensure sustainable operations.
• Communication and collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to quickly resolve technical issues and create a high-performance culture.
• Documentation and reporting: Keep accurate records of maintenance performed, use of spare parts, and conduct handovers between shifts via the PCS system.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a recognized technical education in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.
• Experience working with both mechanical and electrical maintenance in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of and experience working with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, PM, or others).
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team and under pressure.
• Experience working with improvement work and driving changes in a production environment within the food industry (e.g., bakery, chocolate, etc.).
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in Swedish and/or English.

To take on the role of Shift Technician, one must be problem-solving and able to handle technical challenges quickly and effectively. A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail is important to ensure that both maintenance and safety are upheld. One must be flexible, adaptable, and have a good ability to collaborate and communicate with colleagues. Curiosity about technology and a willingness to learn new solutions are crucial. At the same time, one must be safety-conscious and able to act independently and take initiative when needed, even under pressure.
