The Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's childcare and educational activities from preschool and after-school care to preschool class, primary school, adapted school, upper secondary school, adult education, and various commissioned training programs. Our vision is that every student leaves school rich in knowledge and convinced of their ability to create their future together with others. All students should also remember their school time as safe, fun, and educational. The various activities of the Education Administration have a clear common focus on all children and students' conditions for completing their studies.

Within the Service Unit, which belongs to the Education Administration in Partille, we produce daily meals for our 34 preschools, 12 schools, and 4 nursing homes. Our goal is to prepare all food as close to the customer as possible. Therefore, we mainly have production kitchens. We work with a common menu and aim to increase the proportion of organic food. In the role of chef with us in Partille, you will have the opportunity to think outside the box and contribute to the development of our meals. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

There is now an opportunity to work as a Chef at the municipality's largest school: Vallhamra School! You will work alongside a well-established team that wants to make every meal a tasty experience for our students. The cafeteria should be a place to look forward to!

As a Chef, your responsibilities include, among other things: Planning and preparing nutritious, sustainable, and delicious meals. You are confident in handling special diets and food allergies. You contribute to reducing food waste through creative solutions, something we value highly! The role of chef also includes financial monitoring and analysis of purchases (which is done through the ordering program Proceedo). You follow the self-monitoring program and ensure food hygiene. The role also includes using digital tools for monitoring and goal management as well as developing collaboration with the operations. Your work includes ensuring that the food served is good, nutritious, and that the dining environment is pleasant.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in your role as a chef, you need to have a chef's education (or another education that the employer assesses as equivalent) and documented experience in the profession. You have good knowledge of special diets, allergy diets, food hygiene, and self-monitoring. You also have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, as well as good computer skills, including knowledge of the Office suite. Experience with Proceedo and Mashie is an advantage. If you have worked in large kitchens, it is an advantage, especially regarding school kitchen services.
