About the job

Bokenäs school is located 20 kilometers west of Uddevalla. The school is situated in a rural and inspiring environment close to forests and the sea, providing excellent opportunities for nature studies and outdoor activities/teaching.

Bokenäs school believes that students should be able to reach their full potential in knowledge acquisition and learning. We have a relational approach where you start from finding the right conditions for learning.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone with a teaching license for grades 4-6. You will plan, analyze, and document your and the students' work through collegial and collaborative learning. You see colleagues as an asset not only for the students' learning but also for your own learning. The school's quality work is led by student health and the lead teacher.

We are looking for someone who is brave, relational, clear, and experienced.

You have the ability to create sustainable professional relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are knowledgeable in theory and dare to reconsider your practice to achieve greater goal fulfillment. You are calm and meet each individual student with respect and clarity through your belief that the student can succeed. In the classroom, you create a sense of security and study focus through a good learning environment that includes structure. It is highly meritorious if you have proven experience with neuropsychiatric issues and understand the importance of low-affect responses, as it is also important to work for KASAM.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with education and experience as a teacher. All usual tasks are included, such as planning and implementing teaching, assessment and grading, contact with guardians, and participation in collegial work.

We are looking for someone with the following qualities: Good collaboration skills, relationship-building, loyal, goal- and result-oriented, performance-oriented, stable, and flexible.
