The hotel's premises have a respectful past in music history with concerts from Imperiet, Depeche Mode & Duran Duran, and the feeling still lingers in the walls. Scandic Malmen is undergoing a major renovation, and ahead of the reopening of the restaurant, we are now looking for a skilled colleague.

What does the role entail?

You are the first person the guest meets in our restaurant, so it is crucial that you have a warm demeanor and are attentive to details and the guest's needs. You have a burning interest in food and beverages and appreciate order and tidiness, both in your own work and your colleagues'. All to provide our guests with a fantastic dining experience. Your main tasks will be to assist in the restaurant by serving food and drinks, setting tables, etc. You will also support the hotel team with other tasks as needed.

Who are you?

To fit the role, we believe you have at least one year of experience in similar work and experience in concept-driven operations. Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage.

However, the most important are your personal qualities and your attitude. To fit the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.
