Service-minded and energetic with a passion for people?

Then you could be Café Fika and Wine's new team member in service. We are a cozy café with alcohol rights serving the coziest fika in Gamla Stan, simple food, and offering both guests and employees a wonderful environment to enjoy in summer and winter.

Our guests include regulars living around the corner as well as international visitors from many corners of the world, dinner parties, and booked groups in our chambre separee. No day is the same as we have so many different types of guests with varying needs and wishes. We are looking for someone who wants to provide them with exceptionally good service, where the guest truly feels seen and acknowledged.

We are open for service from lunch until dinner (11-21).

To ensure all parts of our business run optimally, we need to strengthen our serving team with someone who enjoys service, people, and quality.

We are primarily looking for someone who has a responsible and mature attitude towards their work, has a natural focus on solutions, and enjoys working together as a team to find the best solutions to both big and small challenges. You need to have experience in service, be accustomed to making daily orders, have a financial mindset, and be able to schedule, but not necessarily have experience from cafés/restaurants. For the right person, we are happy to invest time in training based on the needs of the business.

REQUIREMENTS

• Work experience in any service profession for at least one year.

• Solution-oriented.

• Positive attitude towards challenges.

• Good Swedish speaking skills.

PREFERABLE

• Previous experience in serving, working in cafés or restaurants.

• Knowledge of regulations regarding responsible alcohol service.

• Interest in wine or sommelier training.

• Positive attitude towards life.

• Driver's license.
