As an Operational Purchaser, you will be an important part of Swedbank's procurement function. Here you will work with procurement cases that vary in both scope and complexity – always with accuracy, regulations, and business acumen in focus. Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will work with tactical procurement and purchases that are carried out in close dialogue with the business, outside of the more extensive RFP and RFQ processes.

• Support the business in defining needs, preparing documentation, and proposing tactical solutions
• Plan and execute procurement cases together with internal buyers.
• Guide and coach buyers through the entire procurement process to ensure compliance.
• Drive procurement activities from needs analysis to contract signing.
• Negotiate commercial terms where competition and options may be limited.
• Handle commercial issues and dialogue with suppliers.
• Ensure that purchases comply with Swedbank's processes and requirements.
• Revise and update contracts during the contract period.
• Guide internal stakeholders through the entire procurement process and ensure compliance before contracts and implementation.

Good to Know

You will be part of a team of nine people, all working with procurement but with different focus and areas of responsibility. The team has a helpful and collaborative culture where members support each other as needed, even though much of the work is done independently. The role involves broad responsibility with several parallel cases and many points of contact within the bank. You will also collaborate with other roles within procurement to ensure uniform working methods and a holistic perspective. There is close cooperation with other parts of the organization, including Legal, Compliance, and IT, which provides good insight into the business as a whole. You will report to the Head of Operational Purchasing and work from Swedbank's modern headquarters in Sundbyberg.

Our Expectations

To succeed and thrive in the role of Operational Purchaser, we are looking for someone who brings the following competencies and qualities:

Qualifications:

• Relevant university degree in, for example, economics, law, or procurement. A master's degree is an advantage.
• At least two years of experience in procurement or purchasing in a larger and regulated organization
• Good understanding of contract law, business logic, and how procurement contributes to business benefits
• Experience in business development and driving change and improvement work
• Very good knowledge of both Swedish and English, spoken and written
