Operational Buyer at OCS

OCS is now looking for an operational buyer who wants to play a central role in ensuring an efficient and smooth supply chain. ABOUT THE POSITION

As an operational buyer, you will play a central role in ensuring an efficient and smooth supply chain. You will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials, monitoring deliveries, negotiating prices, and establishing supplier agreements while optimizing inventory levels. Your ability to interpret technical specifications and requirements will be crucial in strengthening and streamlining the supply chain.

You will work closely with several departments within the company and be part of the Supply Chain team, where you will also support the testing and production departments as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Tasks

Manage purchase orders and update changes according to procedures
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
Negotiate and secure the best terms and agreements
Ensure that the right materials are available at the right time
Monitor and optimize inventory levels to ensure a stable and efficient supply chain
Review specifications and requirements to ensure purchased materials meet standards
Handle complaints when quality issues arise
Ongoing invoice management

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Has a relevant education in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain management
Has experience in operational purchasing within a technical or engineering-oriented industry
Has strong negotiation skills and a strategic business mindset
Has fluent knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written forms

It is an advantage if you have:

Experience in purchasing within the manufacturing industry, electrical, or automation
Experience working in project form with tight deadlines
Experience in financial work and good knowledge of Excel
Experience with Visma
