ABOUT THE POSITION

Our client operates in the environmental and waste management industry and offers a range of services:

• Crane truck and machine services
• Complete waste and recycling solutions
• Jetting and suction truck services

As a Transport Planner, you will play an important role in ensuring that these services are carried out efficiently and smoothly. You will coordinate transports, communicate with drivers and customers, and solve problems that arise during the day.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Tasks

• Prepare and coordinate that the vehicles roll out on time every morning
• Answer questions and solve problems for drivers
• Receive and manage bookings via phone
• Communicate with customers and ensure that the correct fractions and charges are used

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has experience in logistics in the form of work experience or education
• Has a B driver's license
• Is a student in higher education and could be available for hours even after the summer

It is an advantage if you have:

• Work experience from a similar role, alternatively within the environmental and waste management industry with an interest in logistics and planning
