The Catering Department is a service sector operation within Ulricehamn Municipality. The mission of the catering operation is to serve meals to all preschool and school students as well as to assessed individuals in special housing, group homes, or in their own homes. Today, there are 34 kitchens included in the catering operation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position includes all tasks typically found in a large kitchen, such as basic cooking, serving, dishwashing, self-control, etc. Working hours are usually scheduled Monday to Friday, but we consider the whole and help each other, which may mean that working in other kitchens may occur as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is important that you have a structured ability and a good willingness to change and develop. You are responsible and stress-resistant in changing situations. You have the ability to work independently as well as being cooperative, flexible, and service-oriented.

Meritorious:
- knowledge of food hygiene
- previous experience working in a large kitchen

Many employees in Ulricehamn Municipality speak more than one language. This is a valuable asset, but it is also important to master Swedish as a basic language. To succeed in the job, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, as well as good computer skills.
