Marholmen is an island with a bridge connection in the beautiful archipelago of Roslagen, just an hour's drive from Stockholm and Uppsala. For over a hundred years, people have come here to rest, meet, swim, enjoy, educate, explore, or just be. Our operations here on the island include a hotel, Archipelago House, characteristic villas, camping spots, glamping, restaurant, conference facilities, party and event venues, and much, much more.

Marholmen is looking for chefs for the summer season

Marholmen is an island with a bridge connection in the Roslagen archipelago, just outside Norrtälje, and is a fantastic place to work. Here you will find, among other things, a hotel, cabins, villas, glamping tents, a conference facility, spa, event venues, and a restaurant. Right now, Marholmen is in an exciting development phase and needs to strengthen the team to elevate the guest experience to new levels.

We are now looking for chefs who want to strengthen our team during the summer period, i.e., May to September/October. Shorter periods may also be of interest.

We are looking for you who recognize yourself in the following description:

Chef

• Have worked at least 3 years as a chef
• Have experience in cooking in the classic Swedish kitchen
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Have good communication skills and are flexible
• Have a strong inner drive
• Feel a great sense of responsibility
• Have a desire to develop
• Want to work with the team towards common goals
• Want to motivate and develop both yourself and your colleagues

Kitchen Assistant

• Have experience from previous kitchen work
• Are responsible
• Have a desire to develop
• Enjoy working towards common goals
• Have good communication skills and are flexible
• Want to motivate and develop both yourself and your colleagues

The job requires that you have a driver's license and access to a car, as well as being able to speak Swedish/English in speech and writing. Varied working hours. We are open every day of the week from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Salary according to agreement. A collective agreement exists, and we offer a range of employee benefits, such as wellness grants and various discounts for our employees. Seasonal accommodation can be offered.
