Experienced CNC Operator Wanted at Phoenix Mecano in Växjö

For our expanding client Phoenix Mecano in Växjö, we are now looking for a driven and knowledgeable CNC operator for a direct employment with the company.

Phoenix Mecano has invested heavily in new machines in recent years, taken in work that was previously outsourced, and hired many new employees. They have recently been ISO certified and are now looking for someone who wants to be part of their continued journey forward!

Your Responsibilities

As a CNC operator at Phoenix Mecano, you will play a central role in improving and streamlining production using advanced technology and programming. In this position, you will:

• Independently operate and program CNC machines, primarily of the brands Haas and Emmegi, with the support of CAM software.
• Optimize and improve programs to maximize efficiency.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure that parts meet the highest standards.
• Drive improvement efforts and contribute to a more efficient production.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a flexible and smooth workflow.

Your Profile

To thrive in this role, you need to have a good technical understanding and experience in CNC work as well as programming. You are practical, meticulous, and structured in your work and have a desire to develop and drive improvement efforts in production. You should be able to work independently, take initiatives, and be flexible to handle various tasks. You are solution-oriented and efficient and strive for production optimization.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A few years of experience as a CNC operator and wants to take the next step.
• Good knowledge of CAM programming/CAM preparation.

It is also an advantage if you have:

• Experience with 5-axis machines.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality requirements.
• A willingness to participate in the design phase and contribute to product development.
