We are now looking for an experienced waitress/waiter!

Our vision is to develop Sånga into a destination filled with nature-based experiences for both companies and individuals of all ages. The love for modern rural life is genuine, stemming from care for the forest, water, earth, and animals. Environmental thinking is the foundation of everything we do. The accommodation is designed to seamlessly blend into the surrounding nature. The boundary between indoors and outdoors is blurred, and the design of the buildings follows the changes in nature.

Sånga's food concept allows modern rural life to share the spotlight with food and drink. Meals frame the day, and our chefs always focus on creating a magical dining experience. With a modern approach to sustainability, ecology, and circular cooking, fantastic food is created from ingredients sourced from our Swedish farmers.

We are now looking for you who want to join us on our development journey and put the dining experience and restaurant concept we create together on the map.

Who are you?

You have solid experience in restaurant and dining room work, preferably from high-quality restaurants or conference facilities. You are passionate about providing your guests with genuine hospitality that is both warm and professional. You thrive in a busy environment and love being at the center of events. Collaborating and developing together with your team is a given for you.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is flexible and always service-oriented.
• Is loyal to the guest's experience – their satisfaction is your driving force.
• Has a good sense of humor and a warm personality who believes it is important to have fun at work.

You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Desirable qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in gastronomy or the hospitality industry.
• Sommelier education or good beverage knowledge.
• Additional language skills beyond Swedish and English.

A driver's license and access to a car are required, as we are located 30 minutes from Brommaplan.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with varied working hours – days, evenings, and weekends. We have a collective agreement. Since we are located only a half-hour's journey from Stockholm, but in the countryside, a driver's license and car are a must. About Sånga:

Sånga is the meeting place located by the shores of Lake Mälaren on Färingsö, Ekerö, 35 km from Stockholm City. We offer meeting rooms of various sizes from 2 to 300 people, 167 hotel rooms with 290 beds, and beautiful surroundings with an oak park, sandy beach, lakeside sauna with pool, green areas, and forest. Here we blend the comforts of city life with the beauty of nature for a wonderful feeling of the best of both worlds.

Sånga is owned by LRF and was established in 1943 by the Swedish Agricultural Association, initially as a school for agricultural associations. In the 90s, Sånga became a dedicated conference hotel with an environmental business model. During the pandemic, Sånga was completely transformed, where food, drink, and environment in harmony with modern rural life are our focus, together with the elements of forest, earth, water, and animals, we aim to offer our guests unforgettable experiences.
