We are located in Upplands Väsby in Smedby. You can get here by commuter train and bus or car, and there is free parking outside the building.

We are now looking for a nursing assistant with a functional supplement as a care coordinator for one of our dementia departments. The degree of employment is 80%, but this can be discussed. Working hours are scheduled for day/evening and every other weekend.

Job Responsibilities At Kavat Vård, we have a strong community, and together we strive to live up to our values every day in both our interactions with residents and in leadership and among employees. In the role of nursing assistant, you and your colleagues plan the workday based on the individual needs and wishes of the residents. Creating a sense of home and a meaningful everyday life for the residents are important parts of the work.

You will serve as a nursing assistant, which is your position, and additionally have a functional supplement as a care coordinator. You are the one who, at the request of the operations manager, coordinates and organizes the daily management on the department and ensures that planning is followed so that residents receive services in accordance with the implementation plan. You have a supervisory responsibility, but the operations manager has the personnel responsibility. You and the operations manager have a close collaboration.

Your tasks include: o Ensuring that what is agreed upon in the implementation plans forms the basis for daily planning and work distribution in the care work on the floor o Supporting and following up that agreed working methods are followed o Ensuring that breaks are planned in. o Ensuring that a contact person is appointed when the regular contact person is not present (e.g., due to illness or vacation), and that relatives are contacted. o Ensuring that reporting, information, and handover to the afternoon and evening shifts occur according to established routines. o Reporting to the management group if there are deviations, problems, or improvements on the floor that require resources from the local management group. o Joining the operations manager's local management group. o Implementing tasks from the local management group.

Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a nursing assistant with a protected professional title and who has experience working in elderly care. We place great importance on interaction, communication, and contact person responsibilities, so it is very important that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You must speak and write Swedish fluently.

You need to be structured and understand the importance of following routines and guidelines. You feel confident leading a group where your way of communicating is of great significance. You are comfortable mentoring your colleagues. If you have experience from a similar position, it is an advantage.

All our documentation is done in the Safe Doc journal system, so good computer skills are necessary.

To protect our elderly and other at-risk groups, you need to be Covid vaccinated. We will ask to see your Covid certificate at the time of the interview.
