This is your mission
As part of your mission, you will work through operational measures to reduce the threat from extremist environments in collaboration with other authorities. The position includes collaboration and correspondence with national and international partners. You will participate in and drive the work within the framework of Redex, the intelligence cooperation between the Security Police and the Police Authority, focusing on measures to reduce extremist environments.
You will participate in operational cases and identify action and reduction opportunities within the areas of counter-terrorism and constitutional protection and participate in the unit's continuous method and operational development.
In your work, you will process information in databases, focus on intelligence gathering, and plan and implement operational measures in collaboration with other authorities.
In an efficient and prompt manner, you will support the operational work by utilizing established collaboration paths. Your tasks include presenting situational reports and materials for collaborating authorities.
Your placement is at the headquarters in Solna, and the work is performed on-site, which means you do not have the option to work remotely. Domestic and international travel may occur.
These are the qualifications we are looking for in you
- Academic education, police degree, or other education or experience that the Security Police deems equivalent
- At least two years of experience in work deemed relevant to the position, for example, from intelligence work or law enforcement
- Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Good ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written
- Good IT skills
- Driving license B
The employment requires Swedish citizenship.
As an applicant, you may also have competencies that add breadth and complementary perspectives. If you can contribute with one or more of the following, it is meritorious:
- Experience in intelligence work
- Experience in other police activities
- Experience in processing and analyzing information
- Experience in the work of the Security Police
