Your Crew

At PAS and Separation System Engineering in Linköping, part of our PAS and Separation System organization, we are currently a team of about 50 people with diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise such as Design Engineer, System Engineer, Analysis Engineer, and Verification and Test Engineer. Together, we are a strong team with a great passion for technology – we are responsible for the development, design, structural analysis, and testing of our products. You will work with us to change and refine our working methods within an innovative industry with endless improvement opportunities. Your Mission

As a computational engineer with us, you will often work on projects close to the customer and be responsible for mechanical analyses of our separation, adapter, and dispenser systems.

• Perform mechanical analyses such as strength, bolt connection, buckling, modal, and dynamic analyses of our products used in spacecraft and launch vehicles.
• Perform related documentation.
• Specify, predict, participate in, and evaluate tests (mainly static load tests as part of product qualification), as well as correlate the analysis model with obtained test results.
• Review models, analyses, and documentation.
• Present performed analyses to customers (mostly in English).
• Work closely with colleagues in usually smaller project groups but also in larger project groups.
• Develop concepts for marketing and sales.
• Participate in improvement work and process development within the department.

Your Story

• A master's or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on applied mechanics or equivalent work experience.
• You have previously worked with analysis work and writing technical reports.
• Experience with hand calculations and FE analysis, preferably HyperWorks, Nastran, and Abaqus.
• You know how to express yourself in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• A solution-oriented and proactive mindset, structured and striving for good results.
• You are action-oriented and make things happen both independently and together with the team.
• You are open to new ideas and curious, challenge old methods, and constantly work on improvements.
