Medical Secretary for Adult Psychiatry in Hudiksvall

Department 10 within adult psychiatry in Hudiksvall offers round-the-clock care for patients aged 18 and older with acute and severe psychiatric conditions. Our operations run 24/7 and aim to provide safe and tailored care based on each patient's needs. The ward has 18 beds and is staffed by two specialist doctors and a multidisciplinary team of about 50 employees. The department cares for patients with various psychiatric conditions and comorbidities. Care is based on evidence-based methods and national guidelines with a focus on patient safety, respect, and individualized treatment.

We are now looking for a medical secretary to join our psychiatric ward in Hudiksvall. The position is a temporary contract directed towards the psychiatric ward. Currently, we have two medical secretaries in the ward and enjoy collaborating to provide the best care for our patients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a medical secretary with us, you will play an important role in the administrative work surrounding our patients. It is a varied job with diverse tasks.

As a medical secretary, you will work with:

• medical documentation of notes, letters, referrals, and certificates
• patient classification, diagnosis, and KVÅ registrations
• digital dictation
• the journal system Cosmic
• other administrative tasks in the department.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, positive, and eager to be part of the administrative support in our operations. You should enjoy providing good service, be resilient under stress, and be accustomed to working independently. In your work, you are flexible and easily collaborate with other professional categories and external entities. We also see that you are quick, meticulous, and enjoy adapting to new circumstances.

In the role of medical secretary, you should:

• be a trained medical secretary or currently in training
• have good computer skills
• have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

It is advantageous if you have experience with Cosmic and the Office suite, as well as knowledge of DRG.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
