Job Description

The Street Unit is responsible for the streets, lighting systems, green areas, parks, and playgrounds where the municipality is the main manager, as well as the municipality's forest. The workgroup responsible for the park section consists of four employees.

Job Duties

Keep the community clean and tidy, weed removal, raking, taking care of the municipality's green plants, etc., in public places and parks. Maintenance and repairs of playgrounds, small construction jobs, and other tasks as needed. All work is done outdoors in all weather conditions and requires good physical fitness.

Qualifications

We are looking for a person with a green thumb who is responsible and has good initiative and planning skills. The job requires flexibility, and you should also have a good ability to work independently and in a team. A B driver's license is required, and we prefer that you have experience in similar work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Conditions

Seasonal employment starting May 19 and ending September 30. Possible extension may occur. Working hours are typically 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday. As an employee of Arvidsjaur Municipality, you may need to use your personal phone for, for example, logging into operational systems.
