to apply for the job
Make a difference. Every day.
Are you driven by the desire to put the patient at the center of your daily work? Then take the opportunity to be part of an engaged team that meets patients in their home environment.
With us at the Mobile Team Primary Care (MTN), you will work in the rolling Söderåsen, the beautiful beech forests, and the vast Bjäre Peninsula as your workplace. Your workdays will largely be shaped by new assignments with patients in the northwestern municipalities of Skåne. Each patient meeting is unique in their regular or municipal housing.
The team offers safe, clear, and accessible care for patients who need healthcare at home instead of in the hospital. As a doctor with us, you will have close collaboration with the rest of the team and other healthcare providers. The team consists of doctors, nurses, social workers, and medical secretaries. Care is provided in collaboration with other care actors such as home healthcare, health centers, hospitals, ambulances, and always with the patient at the center.
We currently work Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00 and are based in facilities at Ängelholm Hospital, within walking distance to both train and bus. MTN is present in eight locations in Skåne and has received an expanded mandate, which means that in the near future we will be open every day of the year with working hours between 08:00 and 17:00, which means that some weekend work is included in the position.
MTN is part of the management Near Care and Health, where we meet and assess patients at home as part of the transition to more accessible care.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We now welcome two specialist doctors who can strengthen our team in Ängelholm. Here we offer a developing and exciting job with an engaged and well-functioning team. Together, we provide patients with qualified care both medically and psychosocially.
As a doctor with us, you will perform medical assessments and interventions in the patient's home or in municipal housing. You will lead and actively participate in planning around the patient's care together with other professionals and in collaboration with other healthcare providers. As an employee with us, active participation in the development and improvement work of the organization is included.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed doctor with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare and have specialist competence in general medicine, geriatrics, internal medicine, or other specialist competence deemed relevant. Knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement for the position. A valid B driver's license is preferred, as care is mainly provided in patients' homes.
You as a person have good professional skills, are secure in your professional role, and have the patient in focus as well as the ability to see the individual needs of the patient. Part of the work involves support and conversations, which means that you need to have good communication skills to meet people at different stages of life. With a flexible approach and an empathetic and attentive attitude, you create security and trust in every patient meeting.
Great emphasis is placed on good collaboration skills and personal suitability.
We apply continuous selection in this recruitment, which means that candidates may be called for an interview even before the application deadline. We warmly welcome your application today!
