Health and Medical Care Unit

The Health and Medical Care Unit is part of the social services directed towards care homes, home care, and support for people with disabilities. The unit consists of nurses, specialist nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants who provide qualified medical care with the patient in focus. We are now looking for substitute nurses for our municipal primary care. You will work in a dynamic and varied environment where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the quality of care for our citizens.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties will include standard nursing tasks such as:

• Performing medical assessments, planning care interventions, and administering treatments
• Providing medical care and support to patients and relatives
• Proactive work
• Documenting and following up on patients in the medical records system
• Collaborating with doctors, rehabilitation teams, other care providers, and external actors
• Collaborating internally with other actors within the Social Services
• Providing support and guidance to care staff and students

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a Licensed Nurse/Specialist Nurse:

• Experience in municipal primary care is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Empathetic ability and sensitivity to the patient's needs
• Interest in quality and development work
• Flexibility and willingness to work as needed
