Tegnérs Bageri is looking for a leader for the serving area in Ekerö
Tegnérs Bageri Ekerö opened in 2022 and has quickly become a beloved place for bread, pastries, and coffee in the sun by the water. We are now looking for a Store Manager who wants to take responsibility for the café and store – drive sales, lead the team in daily operations, and further develop the business.
We also operate a unit in Tullinge, where Tegnérs Bageri started in 2019. Both units are based on the same foundation: craftsmanship, quality, and a clear ambition – to provide guests with an experience that feels thoughtful, personal, and professional.
About the role
As Store Manager (Café & Serving), you are responsible for the operation of the store and serving area at the unit. You lead the team, staff and schedule, ensure that guests receive a warm welcome – and that the environment, flow, and sales function well.
You work closely with our production manager, who is responsible for the bakery and pastry shop, and with our operations manager, who oversees the whole. You are part of a small management team where you have full authority to take responsibility – and are expected to take initiative, solve problems, and drive improvements in daily operations.
This is an operational management role where you are present, lead with clarity, and build a strong team around you.
Your responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations in the store and serving area
- Scheduling, staffing, onboarding, and work management
- Ensure service, quality, order, and work environment
- Monitor sales, average purchase, and waste
- Be responsible for cash management, basic administration, and routines
- Collaborate with the production manager on product flow, campaigns, and presentation
- Be responsible for the food offerings in the café – including assortment, layout, presentation, and flow in daily operations
- Drive sales through service, environment, and the right pace in daily operations
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previously worked in a leadership role within café, store, or restaurant
- Is confident in taking responsibility and good at organizing
- Has experience in operations, staffing, and team leadership
- Has insight into flow, sales, and guest experience
- Speaks and writes Swedish fluently
It is a plus if you:
- Have worked with artisanal bakery or café with food offerings
- Have basic knowledge of hygiene routines (HACCP)
- Have an eye for improvements – you enjoy making things a little smarter every week
