Role Description:

We are now looking for a Software Developer for our client in the public sector.

Examples of tasks

• Independently develop REST API functionality in Python and FastAPI
• Write easily understandable code of high quality
• Write unit and integration tests
• Integrate applications and tests into the system's build pipeline and DevOps routines
• Configuration of Linux server
• Participate in the team's planning activities
• Contribute to the management of the IT systems delivered by the project, including user support, troubleshooting, bug fixing, and further development, as well as assist in other IT management tasks that may arise later
• Propose solutions according to the needs of the business
• In the role of software developer, you are also expected to contribute knowledge about:
  • Frameworks for Python
  • Testing and code scanning, SonarQube and JFrog Xray
  • Software architecture in Python applications
  • System and architecture documentation

Mandatory requirements

Education Bachelor's degree in IT or at least 6 years of work experience as a software developer

Skills and experience:

• At least five (5) years of work experience in software development, of which at least three (3) years in Python applications with relational database implementations
• At least three (3) years of work experience in agile methodologies
• At least three (3) years of work experience in CI/CD and DevOps, using tools such as Git, Azure DevOps Server, GitLab, and/or GitHub
• At least two (2) years of work experience in a containerized environment where platforms such as Docker, Docker-compose, Podman, and/or Kubernetes have been used

Value-added requirements

• At least two (2) years of work experience in software development in Python for applications supporting data analysis.
• At least two (2) years of work experience in test-driven development.
• At least two (2) years of work experience in designing secure software solutions.

Location: Sundbyberg

Scope: Full-time on-site at the client's premises, with some possibility for remote work.

Start: 2025-04-21
